Pain et Beurre

A food blog by a french loving Brit living in Provence...  trying to prove that the British do know good food.

 

It was a day not so long ago that my chéri, whilst cramming his face with warm bread covered in lashings of butter, used his classic line <mais il n’y a rien mieux que du pain avec du beurre> Which got me to thinking…….Whilst the french and english can be miles or kilometres apart when it comes to their tastes in food; good food is recognised no matter which side of the Manche your bread is buttered.
